Aires Montenegro was born in 1948 in S. Martinho das Chãs, Armamar, and lives in Gandra, Paredes. He graduated in Philosophy from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. He was a Philosophy Teacher in several Lyceums and Secondary Schools, having concluded his career at Escola Secundária Daniel Faria, in Baltar, municipality of Paredes, where he taught for over twenty years.
His interest in music also led him to attend the Porto Music Conservatory. He is currently developing a project to promote a traditional Swedish instrument – ​​the Nyckelharpa – at the level of traditional music and ancient music. In this context, he has participated every year in the International Days of the Nyckelharpa, which take place at the beginning of October in Burg Fürsteneck, Germany.

Synopsis
In a home, an old professor spends his time making tattered memories, which he then spreads through the privacy of a diary, under the illusion that life can still reveal some original meaning to him. “On this night of me, sad and solemn, the lost aromas of my dreams do not comfort me.
