The book “Borbolet(r)as e suas Metá(foras)morfoses” explores the metamorphosis of existentialism through the wings of imagination. It features various characters or poetic “selves,” appearing in dialogues, monologues, and interpellations addressed to an imagined collective.
Different thematic layers incorporate natural elements – oak trees (Quercus), insects, animals, rivers, etc. – that compose the symbolic setting where the main vocalization is directed to the Butterfly.
It is a poetic voice situated on the threshold: between pain and splendor, between falling and flying, between questioning and epiphany, resulting in 71 profoundly spiritual, meditative, or symbolic poetic texts, with images that refer to nature, the unconscious, or the sacred.
