4th Edition Tratar o cancro por tu: Podcasts

The Ipatimup – Institute of Molecular Pathology and Immunology of the University of Porto, in partnership with Antena 1, is promoting a series of conferences and podcast sessions on cancer literacy. The aim is to simplify concepts, place patients at the center of the debate, and create opportunities to hear from experts about medical and scientific advances in the treatment of a disease that still kills more than 28,000 Portuguese people a year. This initiative is supported by Roche.

1st Conference 2025: Matosinhos | The Oncological Legacy

With Manuel Sobrinho Simões, pathologist, founder and president of Ipatimup; Jorge Lima, vice-director of Ipatimup, researcher in Cancer Biology; Sérgio Castedo, specialist in medical genetics, head of the Family Cancer Clinic at the Champalimaud Foundation; and Tamara Milagre, President of the EVITA Association, an association supporting carriers of gene alterations related to hereditary cancer.
