Organized by the Misericórdia de Santo Tirso, the “Maioridades” initiative took place today, at the Auditorium Centro Engº Eurico de Melo.
Topics such as geriatric cancer, prevention and diagnosis, loneliness and depression in the elderly or the impact of their illness on the family, at a social, financial and psychological level, among other issues linked to geriatrics, were discussed.
The night also featured a performance by Tirsense musician Dan Riverman.
